Methodology
About the Idaho 287(g) Map
Idaho Immigration Watch supports voluntary 287(g) participation. Recommendations are attributed and kept distinct from sourced findings.
Operational status
Green means verified participation, yellow means genuinely unresolved or under consideration, gray means no verified participation found, and red means a current authorized decision-maker has clearly declined, opposed, or said the jurisdiction does not plan to pursue voluntary participation. A formal resolution is not required.
Accountability flags
A red flag identifies a separately sourced position by a relevant official. It never changes the city or county base status, and mandate or model-specific concerns remain explicitly scoped.
Universal discovery
Research coverage and jurisdiction discovery are separate. Missing research never removes a county or incorporated city.
Qualified absence
“No verified participation found” describes current evidence coverage; it is not proof that no cooperation, application, or review activity exists.
Service structure
City actions use verified municipal, contracted, sheriff-served, or explicitly unverified law-enforcement structures.
Many-to-many geography
Cities can intersect multiple counties and ZIP/ZCTA areas can match multiple jurisdictions. Ambiguity is shown to the user.
Public action projection
Balanced civic-action history remains in internal compatibility validation. The deployed browser receives one attributed Idaho Immigration Watch action per jurisdiction.
Evidence contracts
Research profiles preserve publication gates, disclosures, verification, claims, source tiers, legal instruments, and timelines.
